Overview

This website is operated by Scout Collar. Throughout the site, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Scout Collar. By browsing the site, placing an order, or using a Scout Collar, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to place an order. You agree not to use our products for any unlawful purpose, and specifically not to track a person, another person's animal, a vehicle, or any property without the owner's consent. Our devices are made for tracking your own pets.

Orders & Pricing

All prices are shown in the store currency and may change at any time before an order is placed. We may limit quantities, refuse or cancel any order, and correct pricing or description errors even after an order has been submitted. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a full refund.

How Tracking Works

Scout Collar is a collar designed to hold an Apple AirTag. An AirTag is not included with your order and must be bought separately. Tracking requires an iPhone running iOS 14.5 or later and Apple's Find My app. The collar is not compatible with Android devices.

We do not operate the tracking service. Location is provided by Apple through the Find My network and is subject to Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Accuracy and availability depend on conditions outside our control, including how many Apple devices are nearby, buildings, terrain, weather, and AirTag battery level. Location readings are an aid, not a guarantee, and may be delayed or unavailable at times.

Scout Collar is not a substitute for responsible supervision. It should never be relied on as the only means of keeping a pet safe, and it is not a medical, veterinary, or emergency service.

Safe Use & Fit

Follow the fitting instructions supplied with your collar. Make sure the AirTag is fully seated and the housing is closed before putting the collar on your pet. The breakaway safety clasp is designed to release under pressure; it must not be modified, replaced with a fixed buckle, or used with a lead. Check the fit regularly, especially on growing animals, and inspect the strap and housing for wear. Keep AirTag batteries away from pets and children, and stop using any collar with a cracked or damaged housing.

Subscription Plan

You can buy a collar once, or choose the subscription plan and receive a freshly redesigned collar every 6 months. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel, and each renewal is charged to your saved payment method on the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops all future renewals; the collar from the period you have already paid for remains yours. Renewal charges already taken are covered by the trial and refund terms on our Refund Policy page. We will tell you in advance if the renewal price changes.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Warranty

Collars are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery. The warranty does not cover normal wear, chewing damage, a lost collar or lost AirTag, water ingress beyond the stated rating, or damage caused by modification or misuse. AirTags are Apple products and are covered by Apple's own warranty, not ours. Statutory consumer rights in your country apply in addition to this warranty and are not affected by it.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scout Collar is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including injury to or loss of a pet, arising from use of or reliance on the collar or on Apple's Find My network. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, images, product photography, and the Scout Collar name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
